There are numerous restaurants and take-out options in the neighborhood. There is a close-by shopping mall within a 12-15 minute walk or 2 minute drive that offers sit-down or take-out restaurants including Mr. Sub, Oh Basil, Starbucks, Extreme Pita, Pizza Pizza. There is also a small strip mall that features New Town Chinese Food and Super Duper Pizza (both deliver). Milano's Pizzeria which offers pizza (of course), subs, chicken wings, Italian food and burgers. They also deliver. If you order out, please ask the delivery person to come to the back door.

Theatre

The National Arts Center and other live theaters offer live music, dance and plays. There are several movie theaters within driving distance (6-7 minutes) or accessible by public transit. These include movie theaters downtown or suburbs.
This movie theater is easy to get to and has lots of free parking. There are restaurants in the South Keys shopping mall next to it if you'd like to have a meal before or after the movie.
