45 minute drive to park entrance. Miles of trails ranging from easy to strenuous. Hike to the top of Lassen Peak, across meadows, or to beautiful waterfalls. Lassen is one of the lesser known national parks making it ideal for avoiding crowds and finding a peaceful nature experience.

45 minute drive to park entrance. Miles of trails ranging from easy to strenuous. Hike to the top of Lassen Peak, across meadows, or to beautiful waterfalls. Lassen is one of the lesser known national parks making it ideal for avoiding crowds and finding a peaceful nature experience.
90 minute drive to the park entrance. Easy hike to the bottom of the falls. Uphill on the way back or take a longer gradual climbing loop trail along the river back to the top.

60 minute drive to the town of Mount Shasta. Great hiking up the mountain from Bunny Flat Trailhead up to the Seirra Club cabin and beyond. Strenuous uphill hiking but well worth the view.

The glass decked, cable-stayed cantilever suspension bridge reaches 217 feet into the sky and, spans 710 feet across the Sacramento River, and is the world’s largest working sundial. As an environmentally conscious structure, Sundial Bridge was intentionally constructed without river footings to leave the salmon-spawning habitat below undisturbed.
One end starts on the west side of the Sacramento River in the Turtle Bay Exploration Park. Across the river you'll find miles of walking or biking on the scenic river trail.
