The best burger in town! (We might be biased as we own it, but we’ll let 80 years of business speak for itself). Old fashioned thin patties made with fresh meat daily, crispy shoestring fries, sodas, shakes, ice cream. Salads and vegetarian burgers also available. Outdoor dining patio. (530)241-0136

The glass decked, cable-stayed cantilever suspension bridge reaches 217 feet into the sky and, spans 710 feet across the Sacramento River, and is the world’s largest working sundial. As an environmentally conscious structure, Sundial Bridge was intentionally constructed without river footings to leave the salmon-spawning habitat below undisturbed. One end starts on the west side of the Sacramento River in the Turtle Bay Exploration Park. Across the river you'll find miles of walking or biking on the scenic river trail.

A wonderful place to take a dip in the lake. Just stop anywhere along the shore or head to Brandy Beach for a more social scene. Stop at the visitors center to find out about hiking trails. Rent paddles boards or kayaks at Oak Bottom Marina. Much of the area was burned in the Carr Fire in 2018 but it is still a much loved recreation spot.
