From its little sandy beach, to the old town with lots of alleyways and gift shops..... the Picasso Museum, the local market or the super yachts.... there is lots to see in Antibes, equally alive at night, early eve or during the day. During summer there is an active night time market with lots of rides for children including a Ferris wheel.

A wonderful boat trip ride to this island from Cannes. No cars, beautiful lanes of historic trees, a lovely little Seafood restaurant overlooking the Sea is located to the LHS as you leave the boat, a small family run restaurant, highly recommended.

This is a short drive from the house and a good base to commence various walking trails from. The old village is medieval, it’s small and very beautiful with two restaurants with views across the entire riviera, great food and very peaceful.

Cannes has something for everyone.... it is popular for clothing shops and has many global high end brands along the Sea front interspersed with an array of 5* hotels..... it is enjoyable for an evening sea walk as the coastal pavement is long and beautifully landscaped with flowers and palm trees. The Sunday market at Marche Forveille is exceptional, lots of local produce at reasonable prices, ideal time to visit is between 9-10am. Le Suquet is the old town, on a hill and a winding little alley way full of small traditional French restaurants, excellent cuisine at reasonable prices.
