Because anyway, you will certainly have the company of one or more small hairy animals. Their boarders are too cute and affectionate, good coffee, and the deliciously healthy menu (vegetarian / vegan dishes available) ... A fantastic feline relaxation experience. With a good book or a little film in background, it makes you a whole evening / a relaxing afternoon in good company. FR Le Café Chat L’Heureux est l’endroit idéal pour toute personne qui affectionne les chats, le café et la bonne bouffe en général. Tu peux venir y prendre un café, ou manger un morceau, seul ou accompagné. Parce que de toute façon, tu auras certainement la compagnie d’un ou de plusieurs petits animaux poilus. $ and $$ Botanical gardens Fabulous !!! Count at least half a day, (see the whole day if, like me, you are passionate about botany) to browse the 10 greenhouses and the thirty theme gardens in the park. If it comes second in the world for its size, it is (very) far the most entertaining of those I visited: the collections are well presented, with interesting explanations, often funny; the insectarium, with its beautiful collection of butterflies (among others!) will delight the little ones, and you can even taste the grilled locusts or the soup with worms at the coffee-snack. (But you can also say yuk, the museum's animators are here to convince!) Also worth noting are the temporary exhibitions, of Land Art but not only, that mark out the course in the outdoor gardens. Even the restaurant has convinced me: without being fantastic, we eat well and the shaded terrace is nice in the summer. A big favorite so do not miss it! Not only at the time when it was only village, while many tanneries were installed there. But also during its great industrialization, with the opening of the Lachine Canal in 1825. But when the Canal closed in 1970 for the benefit of the St. Lawrence Seaway, the factories closed and left a French-speaking working population unemployed for 30 years . Place St-Henri has been revamped, and connected to the Lionel-Groulx metro station by a green and pedestrian walkway passing between the houses. New residents came to settle in the south-west of the neighborhood, a few steps from the Turcot interchange, and an alley was turned into Woornef. But also, and above all, the neighborhood is full of beautiful houses with typical architecture, and has some parks and fountains absolutely beautiful. Only for French speakers Excellent comme endroit pour les amateurs d'humour comme moi :) J'aime la proximité de la scène. Les spectacles sont d'une durée de 90 minutes et ça passe très vite. Il est aussi possible de manger au restaurant sur place et c'est très bon. T'aimes l'humour, tu veux passer une belle soirée entre amis ou famille c'est là qu'il faut aller ;)
