Willows Beach is a 20 minute walk away from the apartment it has a long sandy beach next to the Oak Bay Marina. There's also a large grassy park and playground for kids. There's also a concession stand that sells hot dogs and hamburgers and other treats.

Butchart Gardens is synonymous with Victoria. A beautiful estate originally created by the Butchart Family. Now an attraction that's tough to miss. Go on a Saturday in the summer and enjoy the fireworks in the evening with your admission.

If you enjoy a quirky atmosphere and delicious food this is a great spot, one our favourites. It is a small restaurant so there can be a lineup outside but it never takes too long. Awesome service and great food, save room for dessert! It's a fun experience.

Best fried chicken I've ever had. It's Korean style so there are a few different flavours to try. A full order feeds my husband and I for dinner. The sides are great too. You can eat it but it's a good take out option too.

This is a great excursion if you want to get outside and enjoy some nature. There are multiple paths to follow according to ability or feel the burn and walk up the road to the lookout point. You'll get a 360 degree view of Victoria. Just a short 15 minute drive away.
