8905 Westminster BlvdThis is a space-themed indoor play zone for kids (ages littlest to probably 10 or so) that is a lot of fun. Not too large or overwhelming, but plenty to do! They also have a coffee bar and light snacks so the adults can relax a bit while the kids play. And as a bonus, there is a lot to learn here, all of the play zones have information or hands-on learning. So fun!

Just minutes away from the house. A great place to spend half a day, with kids or without. It’s fun for all ages! My bridal shower was here, and now I have a membership and take my children all the time!

Only about 25 minutes from the house, this park will give you lots of hiking options (including hikes that are easy enough for kids) with some amazing views, nestled right in the foothills of Boulder. Go for a morning hike, then head down to Pearl street mall in Boulder for lunch and strolling/shopping for the afternoon!

We love to park right by the tea house, walk the trail along Boulder Creek just across the street for a while, then finish up here at the Tea House for tea and lunch. It makes for a lovely morning!

This is nice and close and has great Indian food! The buffet is really good, but so is anything off of the menu. They also brew their own specialty beers, the chai stout is especially tasty.

Lakeside is an historic amusement park that will make a little bit of $$ go a long way. It’s truly an old-school theme park with rides suitable for all ages (even toddlers). A great alternative to Six Flags for those looking to spend less money, wait in shorter lines, and are up for a little character and charm (and a little nail biting on the older wooden coasters!). Take the little train ride around the lake after dark to get a great view of the park all lit up!
