Restaurant and tapas bar Almocabar in the corner of this buzzing square in Ronda. We personally prefer the tapas bar (inside) over the restaurant, although both serve Ronda´s best food. Romantic outside dining in Summer is possible. Restaurant prices tend to be a bit on the upside, except for the tapas in the bar. A reservation for the restaurant is advisable.

Amazing pizza´s and pasta´s for an incredible price. The ambiance is not the greatest, but the food will make up for it big time! In summertime you can dine outside. Making a reservation is not necessary.

We call this Frank´s place because its the name of the owner and host. Romantic outside dining in Summer. Absolutely great for lunch and dinner. You will have to make a reservation in advance. By car, it is about a 15 minute drive.

Ronda is all about great jamones (ham), wines, cheese and great tapas. Simple but high quality food from local produce. Although many places in Ronda are great for coffees and simple breakfast, this place is absolutely the place to indulge.

After dining out, we recommend to go here for an ice cream and espresso. Small place but the best ice cream in town. Try the yoghurt ice. All home made. Te chef is Italian.

Entertainment & Activities

In Flamenco Restaurant El Quinqué you can enjoy live Flamenco during lunch and dinner. Very fairly priced and only 10 tables, so you´re always close to the "fire".

In the heart of the old part of town is the Casa del Rey Moro (The Morish King´s Palace). It is very much worth a visit to connect even more with the Morish history of Ronda.

The oldest bull ring in Spain and the place where Pedro Romero "invented" modern bull fighting being the first ever to have stepped down from a horse and fight the bull just standing on his own two feet. Amazing atmosphere and not to miss. There´s a small museum and shop as well attached to the bull ring. Fights take place only once a year during the "Feria de Pedro Romero", around the first week of September.
