HIGHLIGHTS Berlin

FOOD recommendations

Berlin has an extraordinary foodscene. You can find very international cuisine, crazy cretions, fine dining restaurants, amazing streetfood... there's something for everyone. Since I eat vegan, I can primarily recommend restaurants within this spectrum but no worries, most of my highlights serve any kind of food, not only plant based!
Thai kitchen crossed with tapas. You can either order a variety of small dishes (2-4 bowls per person) or one large one and share. My recommendation: Pad Thai!

Asiatische vegane Tapas, habe ich so noch nie vorher gesehen und gegessen. Pro Person sind 2-4 Tapas zu empfehlen. Am Wochenende lohnt es sich zu reservieren!

Probably the most PUNK pizza you've ever had, but most likely also the best italian pizza outside of italy! The restaurants has a one of a kind punk-deisgn, the flair is 100% authentic italian, pizza bigger than the plate.. soemthing you'll only find in Berlin. My recommendation: PIzza Patatona Not really suitable for Vegan or Glutn free als they don't offer vegan cheese but you can order pizza without!

Vegan Sushi in a secret garden.. when enterin this space, you'll feel like you've travelled! The sushi is probably the best vegan shushi you can get in town, with tuna, salmon.. and what ever else you might crave for.

Looking for quick and easy streetfood? Then this is the place to be. They have everything you'd typically get at a german Imbiss, but in vegan! Side note: Located on RAW, please watch out for pick pockets and don't necessarily go alone at night as woman.

The coolest Food Hall in Berlin, located in one of the nicest areas of Kreuzberg. Bring some time and stroll through the stall before you decide what dish to go for! You'll find fresh groceries and flowers, the best wines, craft beer, pulled pork, crepes, amazing local cheeses..

Loking for a fancy experience? Then this might be just it. The food is amazing, and so in the atmosphere. A bit more pricy but totally worth it.

City advice

Getting around

Berlin is super easy to get around!

You can use the public transport which is probably the cheapest in Germany (get a day pass "Tagesticket" if you are planning to use it more than 3x per day), call an Uber, but if you don't have a far distance to go to, I'd always recommend to walk and explore the city. If you're singned up for car sharing services, it can be very coonvenient to use such as well. If you're not used to biking in traffic, I would highly recommend not to rent a bike as traffic here can get a little crazy.
