Sightseeing

this is a must if, like me, you love all things botanical! Sunday's only until 3 or 4pm. lovely flower market where you can get everything at knock down prices. they also sell indoor and outdoor plants. the road itself is really interesting, with little boutique shops and pubs and cafes. you can get here either by walking 30 minutes or the overground or a bus. most stalls now take card payments, but it's best to go with cash just in case!

directly opposite the flat! has outside seating at the front and a great , cosy beer garden at the back (away from the road). Wednesday night they do "2 for 1" on their burgers, which is great value. they also have offers on cocktails at weekends. great for a nice drink in a local London boozer!

this is another great local pub about a 10 minute walk from the flat. the interior is really interesting. make sure you sit in the back of the pub and see the amazing ceiling. the bar staff should have a good understanding of the history of the pub. usual pub food, good quality. make sure you don't mind stuffed animal ornaments though! as you're likely to be sitting under one!

really cute pub. 10 minute walk from the flat. it's small though so it can get busy. it serves food, this changes a lot as it hosts pop up restaurants so check the website for who they are hosting.
