Arenys de Mar, is the town beside. It have a fishing port very, very nice. Full of fish restaurant...delicious. You can reach easily by walking. There's a big path for people, bycicles... you can find by the way, "Chiringuitos" and have a meal too

Montserrat, an spiritual Abby at the top of the most strange mountains in Catalunya. It's an icon for catalan people. It's beatiful and we like go there to. The better choice is take the car (just one hour aprox) but you can reach by public transport. Once there, you have places to walk and enjoy the environment.

Getting around
The train is the best way to move arround.
Canet de Mar is a small city and you can move walking. However, you can take the train to go to Barcelona or Girona for instance . There are trains very often. If you come by car, you have roads and a fast highway too.
