Le Cinque Torri, come tutte le formazioni montuose della zona, sono formate da roccia Dolomia, dal particolare color grigio pallido. Il complesso è formato da cinque speroni di roccia (da cui deriva il nome) e un'altitudine massima di 2.361 m s.l.m. (Torre Grande). Ogni "torre" ha un proprio nome:
Torre Grande, la maggiore, presenta tre cime ambitissime dagli appassionati rocciatori: Cima Nord, Cima Sud e Cima Ovest;
Torre Seconda, composta da tre cime distinte chiamate Torre Lusy, Torre del Barancio e Torre Romana;
Terza Torre, o Torre Latina;
Quarta Torre, formata da due diversi denti di roccia di diversa grandezza, e per questo chiamati rispettivamente Torre Quarta Bassa e Torre Quarta Alta;
Quinta Torre, o Torre Inglese.
The Cinque Torri, like all the mountainous formations of the area, are formed by Dolomia rock, with a particular pale gray color. The complex consists of five rock spurs (from which the name derives) and a maximum altitude of 2,361 m s.l.m. (Torre Grande). Each "tower" has its own name:
Torre Grande, the largest, has three peaks that are highly sought after by rock climbers: Cima Nord, Cima Sud and Cima Ovest;
Second Tower, composed of three distinct peaks called Torre Lusy, Torre del Barancio and Torre Romana;
Third Tower, or Torre Latina;
Fourth Tower, formed by two different rock teeth of different sizes, and for this they are called respectively Torre Quarta Bassa and Torre Quarta Alta;
Fifth Tower, or English Tower.
