This "castle" is as fascinating as the man who built it, Henry Mercer. Well worth the time to see his former residence that is one of a kind. Especially spectacular is their Christmas decorations that occur every year in that holiday season.

Visiting Bucks County anytime of year is great and if you want to take in the natural splendor with a quiet walk, this towpath which runs from Morrisville in the south to Easton in the north offers 66 miles of wonderful views and sights. During the autumn with the leaves changing, this is not to be missed. There are a number of nesting Bald Eagles along the way and we can help you to find the right length walk or bike ride, the Eagles fishing areas and the best spots for picture taking. Treat yourself to some quiet, awe inspiring scenery.

Henry Mercer had the vision to collect the tools that built America. He was likely viewed as quite an eccentric when he began his quest, but thanks to him he preserved artifacts and tools that you will only read about in history books. The building itself is just as interesting as the collection and as a child, this was one of my favorite places. It's a wonderland for kids to explore. My father had antique printing presses that he used to make our family Christmas cards on every year and I am proud that one of his presses is in their permanent collection.
