Cabin Restaurant is excellent, wine selection too! There is also a bar and a patio that features gastro pub fare (a little less expensive). Be prepared to spend $65 - 120 for dinner for two with a cocktail or a bottle of wine.

Markdale is strangely full of restaurants, Steven's BBQ, Donna's Place, The Bicycle Cafe' - the list is long... It's a bit of a drive but it's a quaint town and a great destination in the area.

Excellent Hiking, our go to for some nature based fitness hiking, mountain biking, etc. Find the lookout trail and have a break at the top. While hiking, listen for woodpeckers drumming, there is a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers, which you can often see, they are a large 12" (30cm) bird (black, white, with red crown). Follow the drumming, approach slowly and quietly.

Rent Stand Up Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes or hike the perimeter trail. Great place to picnic too! Head into Orangeville main street after your activities (Broadway St) for a little small town dowtown experience.
