Visit the Cuney, Tx spring. People from miles around used to travel to get there water. The previous owner of Riverroadcottages.com got his water there. People still go there for a cold drink. Not much to see but still neat!

Brushy Creek has a neat historic campground there where people gathered in the 1800's & 1900's for campground meetings. The current meeting place was rebuilt in the 1930's. I've visited there but didn't search for the spring nearby.

Take a canoe up or down the Neches River. Go south and you'll eventually get to Lake Palestine. Go north and explore the river. Sandbass fishing is very good here during the spawn in early spring.
