Neighbourhoods

The Sunday Times’ ‘Best Places to Live 2018’ list has named Fulham as one of the top three places to live in London. The list, which covers the whole of the UK and is divided up by region, named Fulham as one of the best places to live in the London region. The Sunday Times weighed up different factors when deciding which areas and districts would be included for each region, including proximity to good schools, sense of community, and access to jobs, culture, good shops and amenities. Fulham has featured previously in The Sunday Times’ ‘best places to live in London’ list. The area is generally viewed as an appealing part of the capital in which to live, with its Thames-side location, proximity to parks and green spaces, tree-lined terraced streets, well-regarded schools and diversity of shops.

City advice

Getting around

You need an Oyster Card or a contactless visa / mastercard to get on public transport.

I would suggest getting an oyster card at any station, newsagents. Its £5 deposit on the card then the cash you want to upload ontop.
Don't miss

The Thames is right near the flat and great for riverside walks

You can walk over all the bridges all the way down to Battersea Park or Chelsea depending how far you want to walk. You can do a loop back to the flat
