Getting around
Shaw and Mount Vernon are the closest Metros
Metro runs most frequently during work hours but is a good option for getting to sights that are farther away

Dunbarton Oaks
This house museum (Byzantine and Pre-Columbian art) and its gardens are a hidden gem of the city. It's a great activity to get away from the crowds in Georgetown.

Use Capital Bikeshare - I do almost every day!
Bikes are the best way of getting around DC weather permitting.
