Subway is fast and inexpensive.

The swbway is the most inexpensive and fast way to go to and from the airport to the city center, including our apartment

Healthy, tastefull and rich, Portuguese cuisine is unique and eveyone from Americas to Asia, likes it. Try fresh fish. We have lots of restaurants specialized in fish. Portugal is one of the best places in europe to eat it.

Short of money?

Friendly Arroios Apartment has "short" prices and you can cook yourself here or have a great meal in the surround small restaurants with a variety of street asian or portuguese food. You can have a great meal for prices around 10€ or less. Vegetarians or vegans have their restaurants also in the surrounds.
Getting around

Use rental bikes or scooters to move around

This eco way to move around is growing fast in Lisbon. You can find a bike or scooter that you can activate by an app downloaded to your smatphone, almost in any corner of Lisbon and most certanly in the surrounds of our apartment. It is a fast way to move around all over town and also a fun and eco way to place yourself wherever you wanna go.

Use a Uber or Cabify intead of a Taxi

Uber and Cabify services are available 24/7 and offer high quality services. They always use the shortest of faster route to destination and, in average are less expensive than Taxi services.

Prepare for our weather

In Lisbon, Temperatures reaches the lowest level in January but rarely go below 0 Celcius. Lowest point goes around 6am. Also, the average maximum is around 30 Celcius by the end of July / August. Can go above that but only in special weather events. Not Common. The highest temperature is reached around 2pm. Sun shows up for more or less 300 days per year.
