Strand beach is a lovely beach with a recently renovated walking trail! Great for sunset strolls! Surfing lessons and equipment are available from SonSurf. Enjoy a waffle at the Belgium Waffle house or an ice cream at a local ice cream shop!

We live in "wine farm" central!! There are so many wine farms - two of the best (Vergelegen and Lorensford) are within a five minute drive from us! You'll find fantastic wine farms dotting the entire famous "world renowned" R44 route.
This historical and local gem is a "must see" in our neighborhood. The oldest and first wine farm established in Somerset West. The massive trees and unique forest, rose farm, historical buildings, walking trails and children's play area are perfectly manicured and absolutely beautiful! The views of the mountains from the restaurant are fabulous! Enjoy your morning coffee with the most incredible views! They also offer wine tasting.
