The new mall in town, and much much nicer than Gaisano! Get your groceries here, eat in the many restaurants, buy shoes, bags etc. You can even leave children in the supervised play area upstairs if you want some adult time.

Amontay is a beach resort built over the last few years. The beach is quite nice, though brown rather than white sand. There is a very nice childrens swimming pool and adult pool, though you have to pay seperately for these! Canoes and power boat things for rent.
About 1 hour drive from Butuan, you need a taxi or own car.
