Sightseeing

Alongside Gloucestershire's glorious Sudeley Castle https://thetudortravelguide.com/2018/11/24/sudeley-castle-and-the-remarkable-life-and-death-of-katherine-parr/, can heartily recommend Woodstock, which is 45 mins drive away. Main attraction is the stunning Blenheim Palace - for antique treasures, Easter Egg Hunts, the December illuminated trail, the Christmas market/events and more. Also the Salon Privé Classic & Supercar event in September 2020. https://www.blenheimpalace.com/whats-on/

Charming, honey stone village in the heart of the Cotswolds. Super for unique gifts and a walk. "Bourton-on-the-Water is a village in the rural Cotswolds area of south central England. Straddling the River Windrush, it’s known for its low bridges and traditional stone houses. The Cotswold Motoring Museum features vintage cars and a toy collection. Birdland is home to species including parrots, owls and king penguins, plus life-size model dinosaurs. The Model Village is a 1930s scale replica of the village."
