Absolutely my favourite ice cream! Made fresh from the milk of the farms own cows. This an incredible cafe with exceptional home made food.
Can be incorporated into a walk round the lake or a trip over Honister pass into the beautiful Borrowdale valley, Derwent water and Keswick.

Fantastic opportunity to see go underground for a mine tour. The via ferata is lots of fun if you have a head for heights! Lovely shop and cafe if you need a sit down after. Honister a great place to head off into the fells from as you get a head start with the altitude! The green slate from the Honister mines is highly sought after & forms the roof of Buckingham palace.

Fascinating company that do a variety of walks with the Lamas, trecking with Alpacas. Knowledgable, friendly and very engaging. A very different experience, and highly reccomended.
