Absolutely incredible museum-- easy to drive and park in their parking garage. The garage is not well advertised-- we have found it very accessible and when you enter the museum from the garage, you can skip the line in front!

This one hour round trip is a great way to see the harbor, statue of liberty, Ellis Island, etc. for free. Make your way in via the Metro North and connect to the subway or if you are really adventurous, you can drive during non-peak hours. From there you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city.

Playground and Views

Our grandchildren absolutely love this playground. With beautiful views of the Hudson and lots of shade, it's a great place for grown ups, too.

Neighborhoods

Both downtown Nyack and Piermont offer many wonderful local restaurants and shops without needing to leave the area for the more famous touristy in NYC and Brooklyn.
Downtown Piermont is very peaceful, quaint and 'east coast'. There are lots of restaurants, a great open space for kids to run and stunning views of the Hudson.
