This place has a little bit of everything! From the blacksmithing and cobbling tools my boyfriend got, the teapots and sewing tools I found, and the lucky fishing lure, to the loose-leaf tea and hand made soaps you're bound to find something you'll like here!

Chocolates Plus has some of the funnest knick-knacks and toys, not to mention the fudges, truffles, jelly beans, and coffee! They make smoothies and other drinks as well.

Best place to get brats (or any other meat) for cooking over the fire! Sometimes they get in some 'exotic' meats too. I've see them carry alligator, snake, buffalo, and elk to name a few!

Local music, local beer, Quibbler, and trivia night on Monday's! They have some delicious food too. I recommend trying the Irish egg rolls and potato cakes with caramelized onions!

Not only do they have the best donuts in town but they make wonderful lunches too! It's fun looking at their collection of cookie jars too. It seems to be different every time I look!

I definitely consider Tutto Bene to be the fanciest place to eat in Bemidji. With their ever changing menu and most of their ingredients being locally sourced I wish I could eat here more often! It's pricey but worth it. Call ahead to make reservations if you can but they're sometimes able to get tables for walk-ins.

The local brewery. My favorite is either the espresso stout or the raspberry sour! I haven't tried them all though, and they keep making new kinds, so you'll have to try them out yourself!

Sightseeing

I love Science Centers and Museums! This place might be small but it's packed with fun things to do and learn! The bubble wall, shadow room, echo tube, wave table, and so much more! I love coming here and often take my kitchen crew here during our weekend break in the summer! It's always fun watching them hold a snake or hissing cockroach, many never have!

Everyone wants to get a picture with Paul and Babe! These are supposedly the second most photographed statues in the State. The Visitors Center has some really cool history too!

Learn more about Bemidji! They've had some neat displays where you can use a Morse code telegraph, or learn how to make a wigwam.
