The Tide's Inn is a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Enjoy this waterfront resort where you can dine inside or outside overlooking the Rappahannock river. Walk around the grounds, drop by the shop where you'll find a great selection of clothes, jewelry, and waterside collectibles. The resort is a real treat.

World Famous Corner Bar and Grill - My husband and I frequent this little restaurant. It's located in a converted country store in Lively, Va. and seems to be a secret. We love their BBQ sandwiches, but you can also get alligator bits, excellent crab cakes, and more.

Busch Gardens is a beautiful theme park located in historical Williamsburg, Va. A separate Busch Garden water park is also located near the flagship park. The parks are a 1.45 hour drive from our cottage but worth the trip.
