Food

We love this little Ice cream and coffee shop! Their waffle cones are homemade. They have a lot of different coffee and steamer options. The wifi is free and worked great. During Covid-19 they have opened a walk-up window on the outside of the building.

We love to stop in here for some soup, and most especially for their honey and powdered sugar french beignets. It is a fast-casual restaurant so it's great for a quick dinner. Especially when you have children or a Hangry spouse.

We love both the burgers and the atmosphere at Buffalo Grill. They have a great patio and a large grassy area. Our kids like to run around and play corn hole on the lawn while waiting for the food. The buffalo burger, as well as, the beef burger are great! Make sure you ask for the special sauce to dip your fries in!

This place is great! Such good food! The owner won Chopped on Food Network. The ribs were some of the best we have ever had. It’s a 20min drive or so from the cabin because it is in Idabel, but check it out if you love good bbq.

Sightseeing

We love this hike/trail. After crossing over the bridge the trail will fork. I recommend going left if you have young children, or if you want a shorter and easier hike. You hike back the way you came. Go right at the fork if you like an elevated hike that is a little bit more challenging. If you go right it will do a complete loop to the beginning.
