Food scene

A small but focussed menu of lovingly prepared dishes. Ask Tomo' for advice because the menu regularly goes off-piste. Supreme and unassuming!

KONOBA BONACA Overlooking the Marina, this place serves classic "Dalmatia" food and wine. The "Peka" cooked lamb takes a day to prepare, but it's sooo worth it.

Neighborhoods

Vrboska is a vibrant port where character meets with innovation. Founded in the 15th century as a secure fishing harbour under the protection of the fortress church of St Mary of Mercy. The village now boasts a diverse range of activities on land and sea. It has beautiful and original restaurants for long lazy lunches, magical family dinners and romantic rendezvous! With cosmopolitan bars and gelataria boasting amazing local produce. Vrboska walks the fine line between adventures and relaxation. Our two homes sit opposite each other on the route of a track first laid down by the Greeks 2300 tears ago and in the Vrboskan tradition they are of two disparate origins. The Stonehouse was a fisherman's processing and accommodation made from Hvar stone in the 16th Century. The Penthouse occupies the top of a communist Villa built in the late 20th century. Both the homes are self catering with al fresco dining. Vrboska is famously child friendly, there is one road to traverse outside the Penthouse before entering the Ulicica that leads past the Stone house and in to the pedestrian friendly harbour. We have one returning family whose children have become close friends with some of the local children such that they keep in touch all year round.
