Bear Lake is a 35-acre lake located on Highway 2. It is 2.5 miles North of Chattaroy on the West side. Very close to the house. Nice trail around the lake, swimming and picnic areas plus fishing for those under 12 years old.

With one of the best urban falls in the nation, Riverfront Park's ideal downtown location that is surrounded by the Spokane River offers a variety of activities from biking the Centennial trail, walking paths, attractions such as a 1909 Looff Carrousel and Gift Shop, SkyRide Over the Falls, and a new outdoor ice or roller skating ribbon. The entire area is being renovated from ~ 2019-2021.

Eloika Lake is a 659-acre lake located North of Chattaroy. It boasts a plentiful supply of Bass, Crappie, Perch and Rainbow. Bass and Crappie are easily caught with plugs and spinners at the North and South ends of the lake.
