Discovery Park has miles of mostly wooded trails for bicycling or hiking. You can picnic, hike down to the beach and lighthouse, or visit the tribal center. There are great views of Puget Sound from the bluff.

There is a walking and biking trail all the way around the lake and people go there to stroll, bike, rollerblade etc. There are benches and picnic tables, two beaches with lifeguards in the summer, a wading pool for the little ones (seasonal) and rentals for lake related activities. A number of eating spots surround the lake as well.
