Join the fun in Cotati, this is what SSU students call the Cotati Crawl. Live music every weekend, across the street is The Tradewinds, and half a block down the street is the Eight Ball.

We love Henhouse Brewery, the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. The place is only 2 miles from the apartment, the prices are reasonable. Usually on the weekends they have a great gourmet pizza or BBQ truck just outside the front door!

The LBC is great for a medium size venue to see some world renown performers. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. You will need to plan ahead as it can sell out. Check out their website. It's about a 8 mile drive to the north of us, just off Hwy. 101. If you go take the LBC drink cups in the glass cupboard of the apartment so you can enjoy your beverage in the theater. You will see ladies dressed to the nines, or very casual, kind of depends on who you are seeing!

The food is authentic Chinese cuisine, the service is always prompt and friendly. Occasionally we will enjoy our meal there, and get the full fare. We have never been disappointed. We usually call ahead to order, takes about 15-20 minutes the location is just a mile away.

Sightseeing
If you ever want to feel the power of the Pacific Ocean, this is an awesome place to go. We love to travel out to Bodega Bay and get the best voted ever, to go Clam chowder at Spud Point, then drive a little further out to the end of the road to the Head. You are perched up on a cliff overlooking the crashing waves, and if you are lucky spot a Whale. We eat our soup in the car then go for a walk. Please be safe on the cliffs. A 30 mile drive.

Best meat counter around, Oliver's is known for all the local goods they offer. It can be pricey if you are doing full grocery shopping. 1 mile away in the same shopping center that you will find China Garden our favorite Chinese food.

We usually take the Harley, of course we have to make a stop at Susie's Bar in downtown, get lunch at any one of the great restaurants and just walk around town before heading back home.
It's also nice to take an alternative route back here through Healdsburg along Hwy. 128.

This is a fun day trip, there are so many things to do in this small town. We just love to take a drive through Mark West Springs Rd. Then turning onto Petrified Forest Rd. Past the famous Petrified Forest, and down into the town of Calistoga.
We usually take the Harley, of course we have to make a stop at Susie's Bar in downtown, get lunch at any one of the great restaurants and just walk around town before heading back home.
It's also nice to take an alternative route back here through Healdsburg along Hwy. 128.
