Getting around
Car rental vs. Taxi Service
Driving is different on island! We drive on the left side of the road and the driver is on the left (think European driving but a US car.) The terrain is mountainous, narrow roads, and scenic. GPS can be spotty in areas so download a map prior to arrival. We suggest for your first visit to the island to use a taxi service and can share a few drivers to contact to coordinate your trip with before you land! Taxi services have point to point set fees. Car rentals book quickly so reserve a car early!
