Great walk .

This is a great walk from Kiama to Gerringong . 20 kms in total. You can pick it up at various points . It is also possible to get the train back from Gerringong . In summer we suggest doing the walk early morning or late in the day as there is not much shade.

Further afield.

Berrima is our favourite village in the Southern highlands . It has lots of great cafes and some very good restaurants ; Eschalot is well worth dining at. It is a charming village with beautiful buildings .

Kangaroo valley is a lovely spot to visit . It is possible to hire kyacks here to go down the river . Later in the day you will see wombats and kangaroos. It takes about 50 mins to get there . You can do a circular day tour and take in Belmore falls and Fitzroy falls.

Bowral is a 50 minute drive. Lots of shops , cafes . Also a massive vintage / antic shop called Dirty Jane’s. There is a lovely little cafe inside Dirty Jane’s called Your Vintage Occasion Tea Salon.
