Getting around
Rent a golf cart!
You can drive a golf cart on the roads in Hatteras Village! You can rent one in town to get around. It's fun and easier to park:)
Travelling with kids
Lifeguard Beaches
There are 2 Beaches on Hatteras Island with life guards. One in Buxton at the Light house beach and one close by at the Frisco Public beach. The Frisco beach has a large parking lot with public restrooms and outdoor showers to rinse off. It is life guarded from Memorial Day through Labor Day
