Food Scene

LIGHTHOUSE POINT BAR & GRILL - Located at Sumter Town Square 925 Lakeshore Dr, The Villages, FL 32162-1691 is one of the best places to dine on the waterfront. This gets crazy busy during dinner time so I suggest a late lunch or early dinner (maybe between 2-4) to get seated outside. Don't sit inside because the food is average and the experience is the waterfront dining.

Understanding Villages Guest Passes vs Resident Passes

Village Renters are eligible for either of two IDs. The ID will determine the level of access you will have to amenities during your stay in the Villages. I can provide a Free Guest Pass (issued by the Villages) I will need the Names, date of births and addresses of each guest before arrival. The passes will be waiting when you check-in. Another option is the Resident card will be issued for a $50.00 fee. This gives the guest the ability to schedule golf tees times, access to the sports pools and identical benefits as a resident would have who lives full time in The Villages.
