Shopping on the famous Oxford street. If you don't mind crowds then definitely worth going for a day of shopping. It is always busy regardless of time or day of the week. Around 35-40 minutes from flat.

15 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride over the bridge into the heart of Chelsea. Bluebird is a great place to have Brunch, Afternoon Tea or a proper meal or even just some Champagne. It is quite expensive though. £££

Has a few nice little cafes and restaurants. From Tapas to Lebanese food and just general desert/ice cream shops. Nice place to eat and drink after or before visiting the Natural History Museum or V&A Museum.

The river side of the Park has a great view onto Albert Bridge Road, which is very nicely lit up at night. The sun also sets behind it, worth the view if you can catch it.

Winter wonderland is also in the park all of December as London's largest Christmas Market. Whether you want to just look at it from the bottom or actually enjoy the views on the ride. It is very nice surrounding and especially nice at sunset. Worth pre-booking to get the fast lane entrance as queues can get very long.
