This coastal town has a rising art scene and has some fun eateries on the pier. There is also the famous Marcus Wareing restaurant Rocksalt that overlooks the harbour. This is under a 20 minute drive from the barn.

Ashford Designer Outlet has some excellent priced high quality stores such as Ralph Lauren and Boss as well as kitchen accessories like Le Creuset.
This is quite an industrial down so we haven't visited much more than these shops.

Neighbourhoods
The village of Stowting is located in an AONB an the beginning of the Kent North Downs. There are many different walks you can take around the property with varying levels of difficulty.
There is also the Stowting Cricket Club who play every second Saturday.
We also have access to a private trout fishing pond and to the alpaca farm next door.
There is also the local Public House that is under a 15 minute walk.

This newly refurbished pub just reopened again at the end of May 2021 and has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is excellent. We highly recommend you go there when you visit the barn - Dickie will take good care of you.
