Arts & Culture

This asks me to select a category but Place Des Arts is not just an Art Gallery, it's the Artistic exhibition center of the city. Museum, Theatre, Symphony, University, Library, yes, it's all there AND exhibitions, outdoor, indoor. You name it. Food, shopping. Awesome part of the city to visit.

Because Mile End is where all the artists hang out. If you want to see where it's all happening. Go to Mile end. Cafes and Vintage shops! And then some more of them! :)

Parks & Nature

It's a very quick way to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. You can even take the metro to get there, and in the summer there is a ferry. You can bike or walk over the Jaques Cartier bridge and see an amazing view of the city and the river. On the island, there are walking trails along the St. Lawrence, and if you skip across to Ile Notre Dame, especially biking, you can get onto the peninsula that really takes you out of town.
