Great hidden gem in the back woods! And just minutes down the road from Thimbleberry Glamping. My personal favorite way to get to the Pack River Store is to float the river and get out for your favorite beverage, lunch or dinner at the Pack River General Store.

City/town information

Sandpoint is a picturesque small town with everything to offer! From hiking, skiing, stunning views and adorable shops and local cuisine. You can hang out at City Beach, eat at Trinity's beach front restaurant, walk thru down town, drive up to Schweitzer Mountain or rent a boat or jet ski for some fun on Lake Pend Oreille. And if visiting in the first two weeks of August the Sandpoint Festival is always a great time for live music, dancing and sampling some of the local cuisine. If winter and skiing is more your jam Schweitzer Ski Resort is just 10 minutes to the base of the mountain where you can drive up or take the shuttle.
