Our favourite for coffee on the Harbour front. Takeway from the hatch or sit in upstairs in the walk-in cafe for delicious foodie breakfasts. https://www.instagram.com/yallahcafe_stives/

Beautiful pottery Museum and Shop. About a 20 minute walk out of the town (up a hill) Look out for classes, kids pottery sessions which can be booked during holidays

City advice

Getting around

Parking in town is busy/Buses run regularly

Parking is very busy in the town itself, we recommend parking up the hill and catching the bus down into town and beaches
Book before you go

Tate and Barbara Hepworth and many of the restaurants

The museums require booking in advance https://www.tate.org.uk/visit/tate-st-ives There are too many restaurants to name, but these are the ones that get the most busy in advance https://porthmeor-beach.co.uk https://www.porthminstercafe.co.uk/the-restaurant/booking-restaurant/ https://www.hub-stives.co.uk https://www.seafoodcafe.co.uk (this is at the end of our terrace)
What to pack

Beach towels and walking boots

We don't provide beach towels so do bring your own. The coastal path is a must, can be managed in trainers, but if you're spending a few hours on it, walking boots are useful..
