This is a lovely park with hiking trails, playground, and library all in one location. Various hiking loops with some nice elevation and views. Park on the Nacogdoches side entrance for hiking only, or the Judson entrance for the library, playground, and hiking trails.

If you want some great Texas BBQ, we recommend this place! Casual eat-in, or easy take-out. Brisket is our favorite, but all the meats and sides are good.

We love the all-you-can-eat sushi here! Great variety of appetizers, soups, salads, and high-end sushi rolls. Recommend going at lunch (smaller crowds, and better price).

If you’re looking for healthy fast food, Taco Cabana is our frequent pick up. We love the chicken fajita Cabana bowl salads, loaded burritos, flautas with queso, and fresh salsas. They also have dozen-packs of yummy breakfast tacos for early outings and events.
