Nestled between Babbacombe and Torquay, Anstey’s Cove is an ideal place to take in the best of the English Riviera coastline away from the hustle and bustle.
It’s an idyllic natural sun trap with far reaching views across Lyme Bay to the Dorset coastline. It’s limestone cliffs and lush green hillsides combine with everyday marine life for scenery that’s totally stunning.
Off the beaten track, the licensed cafe offers a great range of freshly made food, dairy ice cream, freshly ground coffee, cakes & snacks. There is also a selection of draught beers and wines to enjoy on the outdoor tables overlooking the sea.
Sun loungers are available for hire, along with sit-on kayaks and stand-up paddle boards.
Anstey’s Cove is within walking distance of the property (10-15 mins) however there is also a car park (cash only). Access is via a steep path so this is not ideal for those with mobility issues. The cove does not have a sandy beach.

A must visit when visiting Torquay. lovely park set in acres of countryside, a gem tucked away in the centre of Torquay which you just wouldn't know was there. Chocolate box village with thatched roofs cottages, small independent shops and a love cafe. There are small car parks which all take cash but would recommend walking rather than driving.

Visit the beautiful Dartmouth. It can be accessed by Car, Park and ride, train, bus or boat. If driving would recommend going early as the parking is pretty non existant but crossing the river dart on the car ferry is a treat. Lovely shops, harbour and restaurants. Absolutely worth visiting when visiting the South West. In the summer months Dartmouth has a fantastic Dartmouth Regatta which is a great day out, normally in August.
