City advice

What to pack

Bring a Jacket!

Our winter season is often brutally cold! If you'll be here between November and March, absolutely bring a jacket, cap, and mittens!
Don't miss

Farmer's Market in Marquette

June through November we have a farmer's market every Saturday at Marquette Commons. If you find yourself in town on Saturday, definitely check it out!
Customs and culture

Know what a "Yooper" is?

Most of us are "yoopers" - an incredibly kind and friendly people! Don't be shy - the majority of us love tourists and will welcome you with open arms!
Don't miss

Watch for downtown Marquette events!

During the mid and late summer months, Marquette has tons of downtown events (check local Facebook pages for more info).
