Neighbourhoods
This is a beautiful place to live, surrounded by rolling farmland. The locals are friendly, the kids are free to run around together, the bird song is incredible. A town close enough to everything but far enough away from everything.

Book before you go
Order the platter !!
We offer a pretty substantial antipasto platter (picture in the album) that can be pre ordered and delivered prior to your arrival. Just contact us privately to arrange.
We run the local cafe and have access to some pretty amazing fare. We use local cheeses, hazelnuts grown a stones throw away, salmon farmed in Akaroa, meats from the local butchery and dips made by me... and I'm good at dips. The platter is $70 and could easily be dinner for two or snacks for more.
If you have dietary requirements or a fussy appetite we can work with it. Just let us know what works for you.
Book before you go
We can fill the fridge if you like...
We run the local store and can easily get some groceries in your fridge prior to your arrival. Milk and bread, crackers and cheese.... If you wanted beer or wine we can happily arrange that too. The store closes at 5.30pm but if you're caught out for anything after that contact us directly and we can sort you out. Happy to.
