THE CARROT CAKE. Trust me and order it. Also everything is lovely here. A nice walk from the house if you want to actually exercise to burn off the multiple carrot cakes you will be eating (they have mini cakes so I'm not totally crazy).

This restaurant is excellent for food, warm beverages, boozy beverages, dessert, ambience, basically everything. And it's right next door to the bookstore. Grab a book, cozy up, and drink some warm cocoa or enjoy a glass of wine. The pasta rosettes and the Lena with whipped cream are my favorite.

This place is a local classic. It's not hoity-toity, and serves Pho, and probably the best jalapeno poppers in town. Where else do you get pie, noodles, fries, and vegan hot dogs? Right here. You can even walk here from the house.

Their Benedict’s are outstanding, and if you’re a mimosa person, this is the place (it’s not bottomless so it’s harder to overdo it, but still a good deal). My favorite brunch spot for sure. Dog friendly patio. Keep in mind it’s usually really busy so get there early.
