The best BBQ I’ve had in the state of Colorado. Their ribs are the best around, smoked wings are can’t miss, this place is fantastic. It’s in Idaho Springs but not on the part of miner street that’s blocked off to traffic. Head just a few blocks further east towards the Safeway and when you smell the smoky bbq you’re close.

This is probably the best menu in the mountains. The Mac and cheese is fantastic, try a cheese crisp with your favorite meat on it, boneless wings are another favorite. Great local beers and ciders are found here as well. Best of all it’s right in the heart of miner street in downtown Idaho springs. Plenty to do and see near this fantastic restaurant.

Another miner street staple. Get the dank sticks while you decide on a pizza and spend some time with the locals. We’ve found there is usually much less of a wait time than beau jo’s and the pizza is fantastic.

The Frothy Cup is an early morning favorite for us when we need a change up to our coffee routine. Great baked goods, solid menu of coffees and teas. At the very least hit this one up for a coffee on the way back into town when you check out, that’s our go to move
