Get some fresh air and check out the continental divide by taking a quick 45 minute drive up I-70 to US 40. The pass tops out around 11,300 feet and offers stunning views. City advice

What to pack

Bring lots of layers!

Denver and the surrounding areas are known to have diverse weather types in a short amount of time. One day might be beautiful, sunny, and warm, the next you might wake up to cold temps and snow! If you're planning on going into the mountains, even for a summer hike or a quick jaunt, be prepared for the weather to change quickly. Always bring some kind of jacket or extra layer!
Getting around

Getting around is easiest by car

The public transport in the Greater Denver area is not the best. To make the most of your trip, we recommend renting a car so that you can easily access all that the area has to offer!
