For some good Cuban food try Habana cafe in Gulfport about 12 minutes from our place. Very pretty place and has outside seating. I recommend their sangria! All their entrees are very good.

Our fave was Red Mesa Cantina (and they certainly win with the ambiance), but Red Mesa Restaurant wins because they have been consistent with their food quality. They never disappoint. We've tried pretty much everything on their menu and you won't be disappointed. One of our fave appetizers is the Chorizo or Shrimp Fundido (so cheesy and delicious). For entree, we love the Filet Mignon Chimichurri, Carne Asada, Steak Tampico, Chicken Fernandez or Southwest Stuffed Chicken. Those are our top faves, but anything you get will be delicious.
