There are many gorgeous parks around The Magic Land from 15 minutes away to an hour.
Great place to go caving, hiking or rent a canoe or raft for the day. We are about 40 minutes from the park. There are caves that you can go in that are unattended and 1 you pay for, it's really neat.

If you love caves, this Cavern is incredible. The park is a great place to play along the river as well.

This is a smaller park and has hiking, fishing and river access for boating or playing in the water. Robertsville State Park is about 30 minutes away.

You may rent a canoe, kayak, inner tube or raft. Need to be there before noon on weekends in the warmer months. They take you up river and it's about a 5 mile float depending on the river and takes about 4 to 5 hours. You may fish or swim as well. Some weekends are busy so lots of people of the river, others are more quiet. Meramec River off 30 Highway and Meramec bridge.
