And, instead of eating at the fancy restaurant on the upper floor, try the Taberna located on the open patio. If you want to skip climbing all the way to St. George´s Castle this (free) elevator will take you half the way. At the top you´ll be in front of Largo do Chão do Loureiro. Here you can then take a second elevator located inside Pingo Doce supermarket.
