It has beautiful lakes, fields and forest areas. It is also next to the Nottingham Race Course and also joins up with the National Water Sports centre (Holme Pierrepont)

Sightseeing

This is the oldest pub in England which is also carved out of the Nottingham caves so it's an interesting venue with reasonable prices. It is also attached to the Nottingham Castle and right near the Robin Hood statue so it's in a convenient location for sightseeing in Nottingham.
