Sightseeing

40 min away from Auckland on the ferry, Waiheke Island has amazing beaches with lots of birds singing around as you walk on the little streets. You can go for a day tour walk around and get the bus back to the ferry point and catch the last one if you wish. Good food, amazing wines and lovely people in this place.

Maungauika is a volcano forming a headland called North Head at the east end of the Waitematā Harbour in Auckland, New Zealand in the suburb of Devonport. This was once an army base and you can walk around the tunnels and get great views of the city! Can easily spend 4 hours here and if you keep can have a bite to eat around the ferry station where you can find lots to eat.

This is my favorite spot in Auckland, I always go there when I want to watch the sunset with the city in the background. Can easily be reached by bus. This park is right of missing Bay beach, so you can spend the day by the beach then come here for a great sunset. Bring warm clothes because Auckland gets quite windy and cold ;P

Food Scene

This place has a few different food places, some cafes and my most favorite cafe where you can find vegan food! K Road is a funky place to walk around.
